well, to make sure ppl dont slack/ninja ect, i thought we could make a priority system. you would get +points for doing good things, like +1 for giving 50g to the guild, +2 for showing up on time for the raid, +1 for being late, +1 per boss you down in raids. and then - points for leaving in the middle fo a raid without getting a replacement, -2 per offspec item (no onspec needs it) and -3 for onspec items.
so lets say mr X shows up early on raid, donates 200g for gladiuss gear and then clears 3 bosses and something he wants drop, but mr Y wants it to, but mr Y was late, left early without warning in last raid and already got a loot from previous boss. instead of both /roll and mr Y having a 50% chance of getting the loot mr X gets it. |

personaly i dont like that kind of systems. its more something for a hardcore raid guild were people have no fun together imo..
i dont mind any guildy taking loot and since we use a loot master prespecc will always come b4 offspec.
and about the gear/money for Gladiuss... keep it, im fine |

The biggest fail of that system is man/woman power.
Someone has to admin and keep track of all that... which means that you need a likable un-employed (!) person who also happens to be online almost all the time and reliable...
Aside those odds... it also fails because it will still depend on someone's sense of judgement, which is of course subjective...
I'd say it's up to the raid/party leader. BUT you HAVE to make sure you let everyone know of quirky loot rules or special cases
It works a lot better... and generally with less friction if there is good group communication. Goes without saying that raids fail anyway without communication anyway. |

| Are we going to use dkp's now? Honestly I think we should just keep things as simple as possible, master loot everything and work with general consensus and people not being assholes. It shouldnt be hard to keep track of when someone is being dishonest (especially on a 10-man). |

We are not using the DKP system for anything other than showing the loot recorded, and maybe who joined in.
There is currently no plan (at all) to use any system of weighting, or priority system for loot, we are sticking to the greed/need/master loot - obviously once the Ninja gets to 80 we will have to revise this, but for now, its pure and simple. _________________ ================================
